Abdi's work is mainly forcused on international projects in Somaliland. His practice focuses essentially on a broad range of corporate-related matters, project finance, commercial as well as Oil and Gas. He is fluent in Arabic, English and Somali.

•      Advised a EU-publicly listed leading oil service company with regards to its establishment Somaliland.
•      Represented more than fifty companiees in dispute resolution and money recovery cases.
•      Advised a Swiss-publicly listed company with regards to its distribution agreements.

•      Advised several international agencies mining companies in relation to political risk, validity of title and related issues.
